Something you may not know about me … I love shaker cards! I truly can’t make enough of them. When I saw what Kaye was doing in her next class, Thursday at 6:30 p.m., I knew I had to make a ghostly shaker. Hurrah! First, here’s a look at the ghost image printed off the Colored Impressions Software:
Easy peasy to do and I embossed and mounted the pumpkin so it would pop. Next, here’s the shaker card I made from the same image:
This time I embossed and cut the pumpkin separately; used a transparency behind it; and, filled the pumpkin with colored sequins. Here’s a look at the other Halloween Template Kaye is using in her class. Notice the ghost is filled with small white sequins!
I’ve recently become a sequin addict! I’m not kidding. I think they are a great inexpensive embellishment and here’s another shaker I did using Template L9489:
There’s really no end to shaker cards that you can make using Lasting Impressions wonderful brass templates. Now go sign up for Kaye’s class and make some Halloween fun! Embossing joys, 🙂 Donna
