I have been dreaming about the big Daisy Template (L9484) ever since it first appeared on the Home Page Sale.  So, of course, I HAD to make a card using that very idea.  Here’s what mine looks like:

First I mounted the Raspberry Cream Chevron Cardstock on white cardstock.  Then I embossed the pieces, added ribbon and a cute sentiment stamp which says, “Dreaming of Summer Days.”  Then I used Colored Impressions’ Software program to decorate the inside of the card AND the envelope by printing a smaller version of the daisy:

I’ve been adding a strip of color to the bottom inside of my cards and I really like that “finished” look.  Now you are wondering about those silly white dots, aren’t you?  Well, I am a nut for Scribbles 3D Paint (at Michael’s) and I use the dots frequently on my cards.  For this card, I put them on the top of the daisy where I had embossed dots and on the strip you see here.  I love “faux stitching” so I did a little around the inside of my card and the envelope below.

I hope you all have a dreamy Daisy Day.  I’m off to emboss another daisy or two or gosh, maybe a whole bouquet of them!  Embossing joys, 🙂  Donna
