Kaye is having another card class, at Lasting Impressions, on Thursday, June 4th, at 6:30 p.m. I am so excited to tell you about it. For those of you in the neighborhood, I hope you have signed up to save your spot for this very fun and informative class. For those of you who are unable to attend, be sure and order your kit today before they are all gone. Here’s just a peek at the cards you will be doing in the class:
For the class, you will be making these 3 cards and Kaye will also introduce you to L.I.’s Colored Impressions’ Software. You won’t believe all you can do with this wonderful program. I use it almost every day! 🙂 One of the things I like most is the ability to switch around the images. For example, in the card “Just for you” above, I used the wording and replaced the image to make this card below with Template #L9565 (flower vase):
This card was completed in minutes! Then using Template #L9571, as Kaye has done in the kit, I made some additional samples. These first two cards were made by using the software to increase the number of flowers I wanted to use. I simply printed the images twice, embossed the images, added my faux stitching, a L.I. button, and ink dots! Quick and very easy.
Did you notice the wording? Very easy to do using Colored Impressions’ Software! This next card is also printed off the software. I bet you thought I used a die for the scalloped rectangle. Nope … I actually used Template #L9665 and printed the rectangle using the software. Then I dropped the flowers (#L9571) in the middle of the rectangle, embossed them, and mounted some grass below the stems. I added my faux stitching and a cute L.I. button and it’s done!
This last one is a gift tag and no software! It’s completely embossed using Templates #L9571 and #L9379:
I hope you will give the Software a try. It’s ready for purchase and download on the Home page. Once again, if you are near L.I., try this class with Kaye. She’s a wonderful teacher! Embossing joys, 🙂 Donna
