Lasting Impressions Announces Winter Wonderland EventRetreat for company’s top retailers offers a unique educational opportunity. Salt Lake City, UT– Jan. 18, 2006 –Lasting Impressions for Paper, Inc.; recently held Winter Wonderland 2006, the company’s first annual education conference for its top retailers. The event took place on January 13 and 14 at the Salt Lake City Downtown Marriott hotel and featured classes, hands on workshops and training sessions designed to help scrapbooking stores learn how to enhance their businesses. Attendees also got a sneak peek at Lasting Impressions’ latest products, ranging from traditional scrapbooking to digital solutions.“This industry rarely sees vendors reaching out to educate their retailers,” said Kerry Hill, CEO of Lasting Impressions. “This annual event will help retailers across the nation improve their businesses and align themselves with the future direction of the scrapbooking industry.” Winter Wonderland 2006 was held exclusively for Lasting Impressions’ Top Brass Retailers who have met certain purchasing requirements throughout the year. The event showcased exclusive previews of Lasting Impressions’ new products including papers, embellishments, embossing templates and accessories that retailers can look for in the coming year. Attendees will receive product shipping priorities, special product promotions and additional product samples for their stores. The company also educated retailers about the digital market, including hands-on demos of MemoryMixer, their new, consumer-oriented software that engages more of the senses than traditional paper scrapbooking or even early digital solutions. The product allows people to combine digital video, digital sound, digital photos, computer graphics, typewritten text using their fonts, narration capabilities and scanned memorabilia into a multimedia experience. The workshop training was designed to help retailers understand and prepare for the future digital market.
