When October rolls around, I start celebrating my birthday the entire month and this October was no exception!  Team member Barbara sent me this adorable birthday turtle card using L9755 (turtle) L9359 (hat) and L9577 (flowers).  Isn’t it cute?  And L.I.’s tiny buttons are just a perfect fit.   I hope, while I was “gone,” you all made some adorable Witch Shoes (available on the Home Page) and we’d love to see your shoes in our User Gallery!  With Autumn coming, here’s what I was busy doing.  I love this card cut … it’s called a Concertina Card … and I had such fun filling the spaces with great templates and paper from L.I.

Templates:  L9144 (flower, bird, pumpkin), L9315 (flower pot, pumpkin), and S415 (flowers).  Cardstock:  White 12×12 card base – purchased elsewhere, Savanna (green dotted), Split Pea Solid, Lemon Tart Checks and Wash, Sunflower Solid, Citrus Checks and Solid, Watering Can Solid, Lamp Post Limeade Dots, and Weathered Black.  Colored Impressions’ Software for wording, brown pen for faux stitching, misc yellow ribbon, and L.I. Buttons.

Do not let this card scare you away!  LOL  There are lots of “how to” samples on the internet and it’s really a very simple and fun card to make.  Try one!

Embossing joys, 🙂 Donna
